Being on our board of directors is more than an affiliation, it's a chance to make a difference in the lives of our Heroes. As a Board member, you can help us build a sanctuary that provides healing and restores hope. Board member terms last 5 years and all Board members must be voted on by the Executive Board of the Ahava Board of Directors. Here are just a few ways to Join:
Become a Steward of Hospitality:

With this donation the Board member receives certain benefits specific to their donation. Benefits include a plaque on our wall of Hospitality signifying their donation so all who come to Ahava know they are Stewards of Hospitality. They also get a beautiful annual calendar of the Ahava heard at work and at play. The Facility sponsors also can visit the barn, to interact with the heard on the third Saturday of every Month at 10:00 am with a facility tour at 11:00 am. With this donation the member helps to build, purchase and maintain all facilities and equipment at Ahava. The minimum amount of this Donation is $25,000 dollars or $5000 dollars a year for 5 years. If the member would like to Donate Funds in addition to the minimum $25,000 dollars to build a specific Facility, in addition to the above benefits, this member will have their name in a plaque on the specific facility that their funds built.
Become a Warrior For Hope

With this donation the Board member receives certain benefits specific to their donation. Benefits include a plaque on our wall of hope signifying their donation so all who come to Ahava know they are hope warriors, a beautiful annual calendar of the Ahava heard at work and at play, and an individual bio of their sponsored soldiers. The soldier sponsors also can visit the barn to interact with the heard on the second Saturday of every Month at a specific time determined by the barn management staff. Their Donation will fund the entire treatment costs for any veteran or active duty therapy program participant. The minimum amount of this Donation is $25,000 dollars payable in one payment or $5000 dollars a year for 5 years. This donation could sponsor more than just one participant and also includes sponsorship of our police and first responder participants.
Become a Guardian Of Love and Healing

With this donation the Board member receives certain benefits specific to their donation. Benefits include a plaque on our wall of love and healing signifying their donation so all who come to Ahava know they are Guardians of our Horse heard. They also get a beautiful annual calendar of the Ahava heard at work and at play. The horse sponsors also can visit the barn to interact with the heard or the specific Horse they have chosen to sponsor on the first Saturday of every Month. With this Donation the member will insure that Ahava horses receive all that they need to be a loving and healing partner on a daily basis. The minimum amount of this Donation is $25,000 dollars, payable in one payment or a payment of $5000 dollars annually for 5 years. Horse donations of equivalent value if accepted into the program will be accepted in the place of the donation minimum while we build our herd. We are looking for gentle well trained horses.

We know that giving can be a personal thing and some donors would like to remain anonymous. With this donation the sponsor receives certain benefits specific to their donation. Benefits include a beautiful annual calendar of the Ahava heard at work and at play. The anonymous sponsor (silent member) also can visit the barn, to interact with the heard or a specific horse of their choosing during the first week of each month by appointment with barn management staff to ensure anonymity. The minimum amount of this Donation is $25,000 dollars pay able in one payment or $5000 a year for 5 years. If you choose, you can participate in any Donor Program anonymously. We also accept one time large donations that don't require you to participate in the Donor programs. All help is appreciated and every dollar goes to the program and is tax deductible. We also accept Donations in the form of Goods and Services which are also tax deductible.
