What We Do
"Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe in the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
~John 14:11-13

WHAT WE DO
What We Do
We provide a collaborative therapy approach to help individuals, primarily veterans, active duty military, first responders, sexual assault victims and victims of domestic violence suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety and other mental issues due to varying types of trauma. This approach is guided by three core principles: Treat, Teach, Restore. Each part of our program is designed to serve one of these three principles and our entire program is rooted in love and God inspired.

Though equine assisted therapies will be a primary part of every participant's therapy program, several types of therapy and wellness touch points will be incorporated. We don't use a one size fits all approach to therapy, so we tailor each program to the individual's needs and background. All of our services are free to those in our program .
OUR THREE CORE PROGRAM PRINCIPLES
TREAT
Treat
Our treatment program takes a holistic approach to healing. It's not just the horses, though they are a huge part of the program's foundation. We incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Pastoral Counseling, Reiki Healing, Massage Therapy, Yoga Nidra and Meditation to treat those in our care using multiple avenues to achieve relief from the effects of PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and other stress disorders caused by emotional and physical trauma.
TEACH
Teach
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy uses the powerful relationship between humans and horses to teach life skills. Equine therapy is partially about learning to care for another living thing. It also helps you learn how to care for yourself and interact with other people more effectively. Caring for a horse teaches teamwork, communication and problem solving. Combined with our other therapies, our program teaches social skills and healthy coping mechanisms to deal with everyday life situations.
RESTORE
Restore
Horses act like an emotional mirror. They directly and immediately reflect the way you are feeling and acting. Simple, mindful interactions with them and sometimes even just being in their presence can bring buried emotions to the surface and expose patterns of thoughts and behaviors causing greater self-awareness. Once aware of these patterns, we can begin to treat their root causes, teach ways to overcome them and restore the mind and soul.
